PAIR INTERNATIONAL BANQUET STERLING SILVER PRELUDE CANDELABRA You are bidding on a pair of huge BANQUET SIZED INTERNATIONAL STERLING SILVER PRELUDE CANDELABRAS. Each are a stunning 15 1/2 inches tall and have a huge base diameter of 5″. Unlike most modern candlesticks, they are very heavy and weigh about 5 pounds together! They have great flower banding on the base, and 13″ wide arms with dripholders. The arms are beautifully ribbed and contoured. There is also flowered banding around the circumference of the cups. The arms are contoured and fluted, as thick as a finger. Every piece is proportional to support the weight and height of this set. Also, these are convertible, a mark of fine craftsmanship. You can use candlesticks in the base only and they are 11″ and look quite classical! Very elegant where the full candelabra effect isn’t needed! This set is in very good to excellent condition with very little normal usage wear, no dings and no monograms. They have been lightly polished and are bright and shiny. Each are marked u201cPrelude INTERNATIONAL STERLING weighted reinforced 24 65 16. I have shown one compared to some Gorham 14″ candelabra- no comparison. These rarely come up for auction, don’t let them get away. All our sterling is inspected, cleaned and lightly polished before we send it to you. At least a $200 value.
